Woyzeck
Private Woyzeck lives on the fringes of a society that despises him and puts him down. He has got nothing in the world except for Marie whom he loves madly. When he finds out that she has been unfaithful to him, he kills her in a fit of madness. “More than a human interest story, a story about madness or love, it is the raw existence of facts and characters that I am interested in” tells director Jacques Osinski. His adaptation of Woyzeck features eight subtle performers courageously and forcefully plunging into the dark depths of the human soul. This is a brilliant play of great tragic purity.
