Nunzio

In Sicilian surtitled in French.

Nunzio is happy tonight for his friend Pipo is back. However, this latter will be off to Brazil to carry out a mysterious mission in a few hours. This play tells the story of a prudish friendship between two men who are on the fringes on life. It is a strange relationship that bonds Pipo (a hitman?) and Nunzio (a simpleton?). This refined writing hints at the intensity of the untold. An unlikely double act, both loving and comic, carrying toasts to women, pasta à la Pipo and all forms of violence and gentleness.
Great acting, subtle relationships, words told and untold are given pride of place in this play.
